Today's workout was a 30 minute run on the treadmill. Solid, but not as long as I usually like to go. However, I am easing back into my regular workouts faster than expected.
Next week I plan to continue my runs (3-4 days). I'll also continue to do two days of strength training. To kick it up a bit, I plan to add a session or two of martial arts drills.
As for my diet, things have been going great. But I am dreading the weekend. It's always my downfall. Weekends are hard because we socialize--in fact, we're having friends over for a BBQ this Saturday--which means lots of food and booze (and cigarette temptations). Also, this weekend Hubby doesn't work... so he'll be tempting me with lunches in restaurants and pizza delivery. I have a MUCH harder time controlling my appetite and food when he's with me.

Since you're hosting the bbq, can't you make low fat sides for everyone? You don't eat meat, right? If you do lower fat sides and then have your own protein....then you'd only be over by the booze....and with the runs...might at the very least be a wash?
