As for yesterday's diet, it was pretty good. My food was right on track, but I did have two glasses of wine. Obviously not on my plan, but Hubby wanted some wine and I couldn't resist.
My biggest obstacle seems to be hunger. When I switch to a healthy eating plan, I eat 4-6 small meals per day. In this case, a meal might be:
- Veggie burger, 1/2 cup brown rice, green beans
- 1/4 cup oatmeal (dry), 8 almonds
- 1 cup veggie/bean soup
At the beginning of my new healthy eating plan, I am constantly battling hunger. It's probably not really hunger, actually. I'm just used to being full all the time.
Rather than stuffing my belly to the point of fullness--and trying to keep it there--I need to learn how to identify real hunger. I also need to learn that a bit of a tummy growl is not a bad thing all the time, and that occasionally dealing with hunger won't kill me.

it could always be thirst. especially if you've had some alcohol. I wonder if it wouldn't be better to be sure that you are having 6 of those little meals instead of 4? Meanwhile - way to go yesterday - sounds like a success all the way around.
