Post-Vacation

Strangely enough, I think I've actually gained weight in the few days I've been back from vacation. Honestly, I think the stress of my job (which I hate, hate, hate) wears on me. I don't feel like exercising. I don't feel like eating healthy foods. All I want to do is lay around and feel depressed.

Hopefully, once I quit my job, I'll see an improvement in my energy levels and outlook on life.

I've been super focused on work. I'm trying to play vacation "catch up" at my regular job, plus I am trying to find some part-time "side" work... so I have a financial cushion when it's time to hand in my resignation. On top of this, I have an upcoming deadline for my novel (revisions), which means even more work.

I know exercise will give me more energy... no matter how counterintuitive it sounds. I just have to force myself to get out there.

It can be so tough once work wears us down to go exercise. But it is worth it. Just make a goal to get dressed to work out or something. Once you're dressed, you're more likely to go do it.

You can do this! You've been such an inspiration, reading all that you're going through puts me and my pity party to shame!
