Weekend Round-Up

I had a super busy weekend that included...
  • Friday night at restaurant and bar with friends
  • Saturday night birthday party for MIL
  • Sunday lunch with in-laws
  • Sunday evening BBQ at hubby's co-worker's house
Despite these social habits, I did ok in the food department. Being vegan does have its diet advantages... if the restaurant serves nothing appropriate for me, I'm usually stuck with a green salad and plain baked potato. Same with BBQs and picnics. As a result, sometimes I consume very few food calories (although I do get a few extra booze/beer/wine calories).

Unfortunately, I was not able to do my scheduled run on Sunday. So I'm going to try and do two workouts today: a run and upper body strength training. That's about 150 minutes of exercise, so I'll see if I get a chance to squeeze it all in.

I always falter if I am out at a restaurant and order something tasty!
