One Challenge Ends... Another Begins...

January is over!

My challenge goal was to "eat one piece of fruit a day." So how did I do?

I skimmed over my food journal, and it appears I achieved about 50% success. Oftentimes my fruit was either half a banana or a handful of blueberries. If I stretch it a bit and count avocado as a fruit, I achieved about 75% success. Not bad.

My overall thoughts: Although I didn't achieve 100% success, my goal did help make me more conscious of my fruit consumption. I may try to make the "one piece of fruit per day" a lifetime goal.

February is here!

And so begins the February Challenge. The goals I set for myself this month are fairly difficult for me.

Today--the first day--didn't get off to a great start. Instead of waking up and exercising this morning, I ended up oversleeping. Clearly my first focus should be on changing my "wake-up" time.

Congrats on accomplishing your January Goal!! You're right - you are now more aware of eating a piece of fruit each day, and that's half the battle. I bet over time you'll see it becomes a daily habit!

OMG - I overslept today too! It must be the full moon or something! LOL! Keep up the great work!

Your goals are ambitious, and you can reach them!

Congrats on January! Even if you didn't make everyday you are trying. That is the most important step to doing anything. Don't feel bad about Feb. not starting off too well. That happened to several of us apparently! I stayed in bed because I felt bad!

Congrats on your 75% Accomplishment. I don't think that I even made it that close to my goals.

Congrats on meeting your January goal...75% is better than nothing, I will take it.

Not to worry about the start to February, this is only one day. You will do better the rest of the month!!!!

Best Wishes!

Congrats! do you use an online journal like Fitday.com or Diet Power4.0? I am looking to journal my food and was wondering what is the best one.

Good luck with your goals this month. I'm a night time person, so your waking up early goal would kill me. :P
