Personal Finance Information

I admit it. I enjoy shopping.

One of my favorite things about losing weight is that I get to buy new clothes to show off my new figure.

Unfortunately, my desire to shop is (a lot) bigger than my budget. As a result, I do my best to stay informed about personal finances. By making the best choices when it comes to banking, borrowing and investing my money, I can help stretch my dollar so I have more cash for clothes!

Websites like PayDayLoanLowdown.com are a great way to get educated about personal finance. This site includes information about a budget, a payday loan and credit. Since smart money management can make a big difference in your bottom line, it's a good idea to occasionally review personal finance sites like this to ensure you're making informed choices.

By learning about--and practicing--good money management techniques, I can afford to treat myself to a new pair of shoes or a new skirt every once in a while. It's a great way to reward myself for meeting my weight loss goals!

And the painful truth for me about finances is that food & money both disappear because of emotional issues. The same mindset that helps me budget money needs to help me limit my junk food consumption, etc. So they can work together- good idea you had to reward yourself for weight loss with something within your budget.

I would stay away from any loan, especially for buying clothes. I am a firm believer of paying off any loan as quickly as possible. I read that in the book “The Insider’s Guide to Saving Money” by Michael Ellenbogen. It really makes life much easier. It has put me on the fast track of getting out of debt. The author also has a website that offers many tips. http://www.michaelellenbogen.com/Frames/tips.html
