Weekend Results

Not a complete disaster, but not great.

I drank 3 extra glasses of wine and ate one meal that was not on my plan. Overall, not a bad weekend. However, I did not completely stick with my challenge.

Tae Kwon Do class tonight... and hubby is actually going to go with me! It's "Buddy Night," so we get to bring along a pal. This is the first one he'll attend. I hope he loves it so we have an active activity to enjoy together.

Otherwise, today is "back to the routine." Upper body strength training planned for my workout, plus some cardio (probably a circuit routine). Then TKD class later tonight, so I have plenty of exercise planned for today.

I'm trying to clean up my diet a bit as the time grows closer to my beach vacation. I haven't dropped a single pound yet, so that means I really need to focus. Am going to try cutting back on starches during my last two meals of the day. I have a tendency to overdo the pasta and rice in evening hours. We'll see how it goes.

I only have three months left until the beach. It's pretty much "do or die" point.

Good for you for getting back on track!

I'm getting a new bathing suit when I hit 180, and I will prance around like I'm on the cover of Sports Illustrated in it, too (though it will be a far more modest suit than a Sports Illustrated one). Because, really, we've got to celebrate how far we've come, right? Instead of feeling bad about how far we haven't come or how we got here?

Hope you had fun kicking and throwing hubby on the floor LOL! Just kidding! :)

It's snowing outside, and swimsuit season is here! It doesn't make any sense, I know, but we have 2 trips to the waterpark scheduled this month (one with the kids' school - yes the entire flippin' school, and one with the cubscouts) and another trip next month for spring break, but that one's okay because I never see anyone I know. Keep up the great work!
