Weekend Survival Plan

Weekend are always a rough patch for me. I'm starting to dread them, since I know it means I'll be faced with food, booze and more food.

We've got social events planned for every weekend in March. If I want to trim down in time for my beach trip, I have to be completely 100% focused for the next three months.

So here's my Weekend Survival Plan:
  • Stick with my challenge goal of drinking only 2 drinks per week. To do this, I'll s-t-r-e-t-c-h alcoholic beverages by drinking white wine spritzers. I'll also drink a glass of water between every 1/2 glass of wine.
  • Never go out hungry. I'll always have a small snack before leaving the house, like an apple and a handful of almonds. This should keep me from being ravenous when we go out to eat.
  • Exercise! Since I'm not drinking a bunch of liquor in the evening, I should be in fine condition to workout through the weekend. No more hangovers, which means no more missed workouts!
Hopefully that will be enough to keep me on track. This weekend is packed with social events, so we'll see how it works.

Weekends are always rough, but it sounds like you've got a grip there. And all that water will certianly help you out!
